My Background
I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design degree from the University of West Georgia in 2000. Following graduation I began working as an interior designer at an architect firm. I gained much experience working directly with clients on design development for residential and commercial spaces. Although I loved my job, I missed having time to focus on my artwork. After 18 years at the firm, I decided to leave and pursue my studio artwork career. In 2018 I began working from my home art studio and promoting my artwork publicly. Although I am focusing mainly on my artwork, I still love working on interior design projects as well.

My Medium
Most of my paintings are acrylic on canvas and usually in an abstract style. I love to add thick texture mediums for additional detail and interest.
My Inspiration
I love to paint a variety of subjects. I don't like to limit myself to a certain theme or color palette. Some days I am in the mood to paint in bright, bold colors. Other days I love to paint in light, neutral colors. I also like to use photos I have taken for inspiration.
